Permanent residence permits are issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Interior. This entitles the person to the same rights as a Ukrainian citizen, except the right to vote.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0645\u062e\u0637\u0637 \u0627\u0644\u0627\u0633\u062a\u062b\u0645\u0627\u0631<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Foreigners who want to live in Ukraine indefinitely and are prepared to invest <strong>USD$ 100,000<\/strong> or more in the Ukrainian economy are eligible to apply for a <strong>Permanent Residence Permit (PRP)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The key benefits of the PRP are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>right to reside in Ukraine unlimited period during the PRP validity<\/li>\n<li>right to extend PRP for unlimited periods (each time for 10 years)<\/li>\n<li>spouse, parents, and underaged children of PRP holder are eligible to obtain PRP in Ukraine<\/li>\n<li>a permanent residence permit opens up an opportunity for obtaining citizenship in Ukraine (subject to certain conditions as listed below)<\/li>\n<li>right to work in Ukraine without the necessity to obtain a work permit<\/li>\n<li>right to obtain a visa to third countries (if needed) at the embassies and consulates of other states on the territory of Ukraine<\/li>\n<li>right to be registered as a private entrepreneur in Ukraine and enjoy a Simplified Tax Scheme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u0645\u062a\u0637\u0644\u0628\u0627\u062a<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Similar to investment-based permanent residence schemes in many other countries, such as the USA, Canada, and Singapore, Ukraine offers permanent residence to foreign investors subject to the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>investment is made in a foreign convertible currency<\/li>\n<li>the amount of investment is not less than <strong>USD$100,000&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>payment for the investment was made by Ukrainian investment and banking law<\/li>\n<li>the fund is invested into the Ukrainian economy<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Not all types of investment are considered eligible for this scheme. Simply buying a property in Ukraine for the required amount does not allow a foreign national to get an Immigration permit (and, as a result, the PRP). Therefore, if you wish to buy real estate in Ukraine and reside in Ukraine permanently, you can set up a company in Ukraine, inject the respective amount of share capital (not less than the equivalent of USD$100,000) and buy property in the name of the legal entity. After the required investment has been made, the foreign national can apply for an immigration permit and following that a permanent residence permit.<\/p>\n<p>To obtain PRP, you will need to go through several steps as required by law. The key steps for getting PRP include:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Setting up a Company in Ukraine<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In most cases, LLC is the most suitable business structure in Ukraine, as it is simple to register and maintain. The registration process takes only one working day. Before registering the company, the foreign national must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>obtain a Ukrainian tax ID, which will take three working days<\/li>\n<li>fill in an application form, and draft and sign the company&#8217;s charter and minutes of incorporation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Because all the documents need to be in the Ukrainian language and because of the complexity of Ukrainian regulations and registration process, it is highly advisable to engage the services of a professional legal adviser to complete the above steps.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Injection of Share Capital<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once the company is registered, you as the company shareholder will need to inject share capital for no less than <strong>$100,000<\/strong> or the equivalent. To qualify, you have to top up the share capital of your company in the following way:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>send funds from your account overseas to your investment bank account with one of the Ukrainian banks in foreign convertible currency<\/li>\n<li>and then transfer funds in such foreign convertible currency from the investment bank account to the corporate bank account of your company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After the investment has been made, you need to get a certificate from the bank confirming your investment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application for Immigration Permit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once the investment has been made, a foreigner can apply to the State Migration Service of Ukraine (if the foreigner is present in Ukraine) or a Ukrainian Embassy in the foreigner&#8217;s country of residence of a foreigner (if the foreigner is overseas at the time of application).<\/p>\n<p>Along with the application, you will need to file the following documents:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>passport and its notarized translation into Ukrainian<\/li>\n<li>8 matte photos 3.5 by 4.5 cm<\/li>\n<li>certificate from the bank confirming your investment<\/li>\n<li>charter of the Ukrainian company and extract confirming registration of the company<\/li>\n<li>a document confirming your address (can be a driver&#8217;s license, utility bill, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>a &#8221;no criminal record&#8221; certificate with an apostille<\/li>\n<li>information about your close relatives (a marriage certificate if you are married)<\/li>\n<li>medical certificate confirming a person is not addicted to illegal drugs, opioids, or alcohol, and has no infectious diseases as listed in the law.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The timeline for obtaining an immigration permit is up to one year as defined by law.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application for Visa &#8221;D&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After obtaining an immigration permit, a foreign individual who is present in another country has to obtain a visa type &#8221;D&#8221; at a Ukrainian embassy or consulate before arriving in Ukraine. The foreigner must apply for a permanent residence permit within five working days upon arrival to Ukraine. This step can be skipped in the case on the day of approval of immigration permit such foreigner legally stayed on the territory of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u062a\u0635\u0631\u064a\u062d \u0625\u0642\u0627\u0645\u0629 \u062f\u0627\u0626\u0645\u0629<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Permanent Residence permit will be issued based on the immigration permit within 15 business days upon application to the State Migration Service of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>As the procedure for obtaining permanent residency in Ukraine takes time, if you wish to relocate to Ukraine earlier, you can get a temporary residence permit (issued for up to three years and renewable). For that, the Ukrainian company founded by you can employ you as a director and get a work permit for you, which is legal grounds to obtain the temporary residence permit. Alternatively, if the investment is made for an amount of no less than $100,000, a temporary residence permit can be issued without employment in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><span
