Individuals in Bermuda do not pay personal income tax. Instead, the Government of Bermuda levies a Payroll Tax.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Investment_options_available_to_acquire_the_citizenship_and_passport_of_Antigua_and_Barbuda\"><\/span><strong>Investment options available to acquire the citizenship and passport of Antigua and Barbuda.&nbsp;<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Sobald Antragsteller zehn Jahre lang einen Wohnsitz auf Bermuda haben, k\u00f6nnen sie die Bermuda-Staatsb\u00fcrgerschaft beantragen und somit B\u00fcrger der britischen \u00dcberseegebiete werden. Wirtschaftsinvestitionszertifikat (EIC)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It provides you and your family the opportunity of living and work on the island for five years to see your investment prospects realized. After which, you are eligible to apply for the Residential Certificate for the right to reside in Bermuda indefinitely.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Anforderungen und Qualifikationen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Um sich f\u00fcr ein Economic Investment Certificate (EIC) zu qualifizieren, muss ein Antragsteller eine \u201equalifizierte Investition\u201c von mindestens BM$2,5 Millionen in einer oder mehreren der folgenden Klassen t\u00e4tigen:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; Residential or commercial real estate in Bermuda;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; An existing Bermuda-based business;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; The development and launch of a new Bermuda-based business;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; Bermuda Government bonds;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; Bermuda Registered charity in the areas of sports development, youth, seniors, and health;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; The Bermuda Trust Fund or Sinking Fund; or<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8211; Other social or useful venture that benefits Bermuda, Bermudians, and things Bermudian may be determined by the Minister responsible for Immigration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have not been convicted of an indictable or dishonesty offense, be of good character, and be in compliance with the Bermuda Department of Health requirements and protocols. Persons already residing in Bermuda who satisfy the criteria can also apply. Bei Erfolg haben sie das Recht, sich auf unbestimmte Zeit auf Bermuda aufzuhalten.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Residential Certificates k\u00f6nnen jedoch widerrufen werden, wenn der Inhaber zwei Jahre oder l\u00e4nger ununterbrochen au\u00dferhalb von Bermuda lebt, ohne zuvor eine Erlaubnis des Ministers einzuholen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sobald Antragsteller zehn Jahre lang einen Wohnsitz auf Bermuda haben, k\u00f6nnen sie die Bermuda-Staatsb\u00fcrgerschaft beantragen und somit B\u00fcrger der britischen \u00dcberseegebiete werden. Bescheinigung des st\u00e4ndigen Wohnsitzes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Wenn Sie \u00fcber ein Permanent Resident&#039;s Certificate (PRC) verf\u00fcgen, haben Sie das Recht, auf Bermuda zu leben und zu arbeiten und Bermuda-Immobilien mit einem niedrigeren zu erwerben&nbsp;<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.bm\/node\/13821\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">J\u00e4hrlicher Mietwert (ARV)<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Der Bermuda Immigration and Protection Amendment Act 2021 tritt am 1. Dezember 2021 in Kraft.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Das Department of Immigration nimmt ab dem 1. Januar 2022 Antr\u00e4ge gem\u00e4\u00df den Bestimmungen der ge\u00e4nderten Gesetzgebung entgegen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2021 Amendment&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&nbsp;<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Das Novellierungsgesetz 2021 erm\u00f6glicht es bestimmten Daueraufenthaltsberechtigten, eine Daueraufenthaltsbescheinigung zu beantragen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Government&#8217;s proposal aims to address this issue by expanding the eligibility criteria for the granting of PRC under section 31A, to include any person who has been ordinarily resident in Bermuda for at least 20 years. While the policy paper states that this change is aimed at assisting &#8220;<em>Persons who have continuously worked in Bermuda and seek to continue to make Bermuda their home<\/em>&#8220;, it does not appear that having worked (as opposed to merely having resided) in Bermuda will be a condition of acceptance, although the amending legislation remains to be seen.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of the PRC application under section 31A is also to be reduced, from $50,000 to $10,000.<\/p>\n<p>This change will be beneficial for LRT work permit holders, as well as their employers, who would no longer need to renew their work permits and pay the related fees.<\/p>\n<p>The policy paper also sets out proposed changes to assist mixed-status families, under which the following categories of people will now be eligible for PRC:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Persons who were born or arrived in Bermuda at an early age and have been ordinarily resident in Bermuda;<\/li>\n<li>A divorced or unwed parent of a Bermudian child;<\/li>\n<li>Children of first- and second-generation PRC holders who have been ordinarily resident in Bermuda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These changes will assist, amongst others, non-Bermudian parents of Bermudian children, who would otherwise have had to leave the island after their child&#8217;s 18th birthday, and second-generation PRC holders who are currently unable to pass PRC on to their children.<\/p>\n<p>The current application fee for a PRC under section 31B will remain at&nbsp;$3,150.<\/p>\n<p>The aforementioned changes are to be read in conjunction with the requirements given below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anforderungen und Qualifikationen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Sie k\u00f6nnen ab dem 1.
