Those applying for Zimbabwe Citizenship must be ordinarily resident in Zimbabwe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Investor Residence Permit:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An investor\u2019s residence permit is designed for companies or foreign nationals who wish to invest in a Zimbabwean business or start up an investment project. The investor\u2019s residence permit is granted for a maximum of 12 months and is renewable in-country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Opciones de inversi\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Establish a business in Zimbabwe by investing offshore capita and equipment to the sum of US$100 000 in a joint venture with a local.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a technical expert (who will have worked in Zimbabwe on a valid work permit for a period of not less than 5 years and has invested not less than US$100,000.00.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a person who invests US$1 000 000.00 (One million) and above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NB. The investment thresholds are subject to change on review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requisitos de elegibilidad<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">a) Two certified passport-size photographs of the applicant;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">b) A certified copy of the investment certificate from the Zimbabwe Investment Authority;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">c) The individual\u2019s brief biography, clearly stating the applicant\u2019s background in education, employment, investment in the country of origin and other pertinent issues;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">d) The applicant\u2019s recent banking history in the form of bank statements from the country of origin;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">e) Proof of ready and sufficient funds available for transfer in furtherance of the venture;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">f) Proof and value of any equipment to be transferred for use by the joint venture company in its operations;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">g) Two fully completed Residence Permit application forms which must be attested by a commissioner of oaths or a notary public;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">h) The Certificate of Registration\/Incorporation of the joint venture company;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">i) A copy of the project proposal;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">j) A copy of the applicant\u2019s birth certificate;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">k) The applicant\u2019s recent chest X-ray certificate;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">l) Proof of residential status of the indigenous partner in the mining venture;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">m) The applicant\u2019s recent police clearance from the country of origin;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">n) A letter addressed to the Principal Director of Immigration requesting the issuance of the Investor Residence Permit;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">o) An indigenization clearance letter from the Ministry of Youth Development, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">p) A statutory fee of US$500.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8211; Copies of all documents should be sufficiently authenticated.
