Persons already residing in Bermuda who satisfy the criteria can also apply. Certifikata e Banorit t\u00eb P\u00ebrhersh\u00ebm<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">N\u00ebse keni nj\u00eb Certifikat\u00eb t\u00eb Banorit t\u00eb P\u00ebrhersh\u00ebm (PRC), ju keni t\u00eb drejt\u00eb t\u00eb jetoni dhe t\u00eb punoni n\u00eb Bermuda dhe t\u00eb blini pron\u00eb Bermuda me nj\u00eb \u00e7mim m\u00eb t\u00eb ul\u00ebt&nbsp;<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.bm\/node\/13821\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Vlera vjetore e qiras\u00eb (ARV)<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Akti i Amendamentit p\u00ebr Imigrimin dhe Mbrojtjen e Bermud\u00ebs 2021 do t\u00eb hyj\u00eb n\u00eb fuqi m\u00eb 1 dhjetor 2021.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Departamenti i Emigracionit do t\u00eb filloj\u00eb t\u00eb pranoj\u00eb aplikime sipas dispozitave t\u00eb legjislacionit t\u00eb ndryshuar m\u00eb 1 janar 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2021 Amendment&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&nbsp;<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Akti i ndryshimit i vitit 2021 u mund\u00ebson banor\u00ebve t\u00eb caktuar afatgjat\u00eb t\u00eb aplikojn\u00eb p\u00ebr nj\u00eb certifikat\u00eb rezidenti t\u00eb p\u00ebrhersh\u00ebm.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Government&#8217;s proposal aims to address this issue by expanding the eligibility criteria for the granting of PRC under section 31A, to include any person who has been ordinarily resident in Bermuda for at least 20 years. While the policy paper states that this change is aimed at assisting &#8220;<em>Persons who have continuously worked in Bermuda and seek to continue to make Bermuda their home<\/em>&#8220;, it does not appear that having worked (as opposed to merely having resided) in Bermuda will be a condition of acceptance, although the amending legislation remains to be seen.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of the PRC application under section 31A is also to be reduced, from $50,000 to $10,000.<\/p>\n<p>This change will be beneficial for LRT work permit holders, as well as their employers, who would no longer need to renew their work permits and pay the related fees.<\/p>\n<p>The policy paper also sets out proposed changes to assist mixed-status families, under which the following categories of people will now be eligible for PRC:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Persons who were born or arrived in Bermuda at an early age and have been ordinarily resident in Bermuda;<\/li>\n<li>A divorced or unwed parent of a Bermudian child;<\/li>\n<li>Children of first- and second-generation PRC holders who have been ordinarily resident in Bermuda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These changes will assist, amongst others, non-Bermudian parents of Bermudian children, who would otherwise have had to leave the island after their child&#8217;s 18th birthday, and second-generation PRC holders who are currently unable to pass PRC on to their children.<\/p>\n<p>The current application fee for a PRC under section 31B will remain at&nbsp;$3,150.<\/p>\n<p>The aforementioned changes are to be read in conjunction with the requirements given below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>K\u00ebrkesat dhe Kualifikimet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ju mund t\u00eb aplikoni p\u00ebr nj\u00eb Certifikat\u00eb t\u00eb Rezidentit t\u00eb P\u00ebrhersh\u00ebm nga 1 janari 2022, n\u00ebse:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ju keni qen\u00eb rezident i zakonsh\u00ebm n\u00eb Bermuda p\u00ebr t\u00eb pakt\u00ebn 20 vjet, duke p\u00ebrfshir\u00eb dy menj\u00ebher\u00eb para aplikimit t\u00eb tij;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ju keni qen\u00eb rezident i zakonsh\u00ebm n\u00eb Bermuda p\u00ebr t\u00eb pakt\u00ebn 15 vjet, duke p\u00ebrfshir\u00eb dy q\u00eb paraprijn\u00eb menj\u00ebher\u00eb aplikimin e tij n\u00ebse ai \u00ebsht\u00eb prind jobermudian i nj\u00eb djali ose vajze q\u00eb ka status Bermudian;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ju jeni djali, vajza ose bashk\u00ebshorti i nj\u00eb personi t\u00eb cilit i \u00ebsht\u00eb dh\u00ebn\u00eb PRC.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">N\u00ebn&nbsp;<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bermudalaws.bm\/Laws\/Consolidated%20Laws\/Bermuda%20Immigration%20and%20Protection%20Act%201956.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Seksioni 31A<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, ju mund t\u00eb aplikoni te Ministri i Emigracionit p\u00ebr nj\u00eb PRC n\u00ebse:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ju jeni p\u00ebrjashtuar nga Pjesa V e Aktit t\u00eb Imigrimit dhe Mbrojtjes s\u00eb Bermud\u00ebs 1956, sipas seksionit 5 t\u00eb Aktit t\u00eb Zhvillimit Ekonomik 1968 p\u00ebr t\u00eb pakt\u00ebn 10 vjet;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ju keni banuar zakonisht n\u00eb Bermuda p\u00ebr t\u00eb pakt\u00ebn 10 vjet;
