The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis has a long-running Citizenship by Investment program attracting foreigners, who make substantial contributions to the development of the country. Investors along with any family members can directly qualify for citizenship through investment, either by making a donation or investment in a real estate purchase.<\/p>\n<p>There are four ways in which an applicant can apply for citizenship under St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Program.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>By donating to the country&#8217;s Sustainable Growth Fund<\/li>\n<li>By investing in pre-approved real estate<\/li>\n<li>By purchasing a private home<\/li>\n<li>Choosing the alternative investment option<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>INVESTMENT OPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>The Sustainable Growth Fund<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Under a limited-time offer (LTO) available for six months from January 2023 to 30 June 2023, the following non-refundable contributions apply.<\/p>\n<p>Main applicant &#8211; USD 125,000<\/p>\n<p>Main applicant and a spouse &#8211; USD 150,000<\/p>\n<p>Main applicant, a spouse, and two dependants &#8211; USD 170,000<\/p>\n<p>For each additional dependent under 18 years old &#8211; USD 10,000<\/p>\n<p>For each additional dependent over 18 years old &#8211; USD 25,000<\/p>\n<p>Application submitted under the LTO will qualify for the Accelerated Application Process, with a shortened processing time from 90 days to 60 days, at no additional cost.<\/p>\n<p>From 1 July 2023, the non-refundable contribution requirement will revert to USD 150,000 for a single applicant, USD 175,000 for a main applicant and a spouse, USD 195,000 for a main applicant, a spouse, and two dependants, USD 10,000 for each additional dependent under 18 years old, and\u00a0 USD 25,000 for each additional dependent over 18 years old.<\/p>\n<p>2. <strong>Public Good Investment Option<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A non-refundable contribution of USD 175,000.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0<strong>\u623f\u5730\u4ea7\u6536\u8d2d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purchase of real estate with a minimum value of USD 200,000 from an approved real estate development, or a minimum of USD 400,000 for an approved private home. The real estate purchased under both options can be resold after seven years.<\/p>\n<p>4. <strong>Alternative Investment Option\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Under this new option, an applicant can place an investment in the escrow account of an approved infrastructural project or other approved development project.<\/p>\n<p>To be approved for use in an application, the project must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not raise 100% of the capital for the project via citizenship by investment<\/li>\n<li>Already have raised a minimum of 30% of the means for the project<\/li>\n<li>Be approved by the St Kitts Investment Promotion Agency and Cabinet<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The cost of the investment will vary according to whether the project is, eventually, owned by the state (US$175,000) or by a private entity (US$200,000).<\/p>\n<p>If eventually owned by the state, government fees apply as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Main applicant &#8211; USD 35,000<\/p>\n<p>Spouse\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0&#8211; USD 20,000<\/p>\n<p>Sibling\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 &#8211; USD 40,000<\/p>\n<p>Per each additional dependent (other than the spouse or a sibling) &#8211; USD 10,000<\/p>\n<p>If eventually owned by a private entity, government fees apply as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Family of up to four &#8211; USD 50,000<\/p>\n<p>Sibling\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 &#8211; USD 40,000<\/p>\n<p>Per each additional dependent other than a spouse (to be included in the family of four) or a sibling\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0&#8211; USD 10,000<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accelerated Application Processing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Accelerated Application Process (AAP) approved by the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis in October 2016 allows applications with the Citizenship by Investment Program to be accelerated to a 60-day processing period. The applications are mostly completed within 45 days. An interested person applying to utilize the AAP will still be required to meet all mandatory criteria and submit the necessary supporting documents to apply for citizenship by investment.<\/p>\n<p>Applications will be given accelerated treatment from the Citizenship by Investment Unit, Due Diligence Providers, and St. Kitts and Nevis Passport Office. As a bonus, this process also includes the application and processing of St. Kitts and Nevis passports.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AAP Process Fees\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An amount of up to USD 25,000 would be needed per applicant<\/li>\n<li>An amount of up to USD 20,000 would be needed per dependent above 16 years of age<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u5c3d\u804c\u8c03\u67e5\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An amount up to USD 7,500 would be charged per applicant<\/li>\n<li>An amount up to USD 4,000 would be charged per dependent above 16 years of age<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Benefits_Of_Saint_Kitts_and_Nevis_Citizenship_By_Investment_Program\"><\/span>Benefits Of Saint Kitts and Nevis Citizenship By Investment Program<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Visa-free travel to the European Schengen area including UK, Europe, Switzerland, and Singapore along with other 151 countries.<\/li>\n<li>No residence requirements before or after the passport.<\/li>\n<li>No interviews, no business experience, no English tests.<\/li>\n<li>No income or wealth tax.<\/li>\n<li>Citizenship for family members (spouse and children).<\/li>\n<li>Lifetime citizenship with a one-time investment.<\/li>\n<li>No restriction on Dual Citizenship.<\/li>\n<li>Discrete and confidential application process.<\/li>\n<li>Choice of $200,000 Real Estate Investment.<\/li>\n<li>Pass citizenship to descendants and family.<\/li>\n<li>\u65e0\u9700\u4e2a\u4eba\u8bbf\u95ee\u3002<\/li>\n<li>Passport issued within 3-6 months.<\/li>\n<li>Business incentives for investment.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Dual Citizenship with other nations.<\/li>\n<li>Right to take up residence in CARICOM member countries at any time and for any length of time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Saint_Kitts_and_Nevis_Citizenship_by_Investment_Requirements_And_Qualifications\"><\/span>Saint Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment Requirements And Qualifications<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The requirements of the program are quite simple, which include:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u4e3b\u8981\u7533\u8bf7\u4eba\u8981\u6c42<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The principal applicant and spouse must be over 18 years of age.<\/li>\n<li>Must be in good health<\/li>\n<li>Must possess a clean criminal record<\/li>\n<li>Must not have rejected visa entry to any of the countries in which St. Kitts and Nevis enjoy a visa-free entry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligible Family Members that can be included in an application<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A spouse of the main applicant<\/li>\n<li>A child under 18 years of age of the main applicant or the spouse.<\/li>\n<li>A child of the main applicant or the spouse between the age of 18 and 30 years who is supported by the main applicant.<\/li>\n<li>A child of the main applicant or of the spouse, who is above the age of 18 and physically or mentally challenged.<\/li>\n<li>Siblings of the main applicant or the spouse under the age of 31, unmarried, childless, being financially dependent on the main applicant.<\/li>\n<li>Parents and grandparents of the main applicant or the spouse, above the age of 55 years living and fully supported by the main applicant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Steps_And_Timeline\"><\/span>\u6b65\u9aa4\u548c\u65f6\u95f4\u8868<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Step 1: Prepare Documents &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Experienced citizenship advisers collect and check all the documents for compliance and ensure all requirements are met.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2: Submit your Application &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Once all your original documents are collected, citizenship specialists will review your file and prepare it for submission. The complete file will be submitted to the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis via an authorized local agent, as required by law.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3: Processing of Application &#8211; The Government vets each application<\/strong>\u00a0through a due diligence background check, during which time submitted information is examined and verified. There is currently no interview requirement.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u7b2c4\u6b65\uff1a\u00a0<\/strong><b> Receive your Pre-Approval &#8211;\u00a0<\/b>Once the application is reviewed by the Government and the decision is made, the applicant will be issued a letter advising of the decision. This letter will be forwarded to you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 5: Complete your Investment &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>Once your application has been approved, you will be required to complete your investment (non-refundable contribution or purchase price of the property).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 6: Acquire St. Kitts and Nevis Passport &#8211; <\/strong>Upon completion of the investment your citizenship certificate will be issued and your passport application will be submitted on your behalf.
